**Have you ever realized you drifted away from what you knew was right without ever deciding to?**
It can happen with our health, our finances, our relationships, and especially our walk with God. Spiritual drift rarely begins with a decision to walk away from Jesus. More often, it happens slowly through distraction, disappointment, busyness, arguments, unanswered questions, and trying to handle life in our own strength.

**Mark 9:14–29**, where Jesus returns from the mountain and finds His disciples caught in an argument after they were unable to help a suffering boy.
While everyone else is focused on the debate, Jesus brings the attention back to the person who needs help.
And then He gives one of the most important invitations in the passage:
**“Bring him to Me.”**
That same invitation still speaks to us today.
When the boy’s desperate father cries,
**“I believe; help my unbelief,”
** Jesus does not reject his imperfect faith.
Instead, we see that genuine faith is not pretending to have everything figured out. It is honestly bringing our doubt, disappointment, weakness, and need to Jesus.
This message explores:
• How spiritual drift happens gradually
• Why arguments and distractions can pull our focus away from people
• What “I believe; help my unbelief” teaches us about honest faith
• Why prayer is dependence on Jesus, not a religious formula
• What the disciples learned through failure
• How God can use failure to bring us back to deeper dependence on Him
• Why the answer to spiritual drift is not simply trying harder, but returning to Jesus
The disciples had experienced success before, but past success could not replace present dependence on God.
That is why prayer matters.
Prayer reminds us, **“ I cannot do this in my own strength. I need Jesus.”**
If you have been distracted, disappointed, spiritually tired, struggling with doubt, or simply feel like you have drifted from where you once were with God, this message is an invitation to come back.
You do not have to have perfect faith. You just need to know where to bring your imperfect faith. **Bring it to Jesus.**
