Sweet at First, Bitter in the End

"For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; but in the
end she is bitter as gall..." - Proverbs 5:3-4
This isn't just about adultery. It's about any temptation that sounds sweet but ends in sorrow-quick
money, hidden affairs, addictive habits, or emotional compromises.
Temptation always comes gift-wrapped. But God's wisdom helps us see what's inside the package.
Reflection:- What in your life looks attractive but leads you away from God?- Have you ever "bought in" to something that left you bitter?

Regret Costs More Than You Think

"At the end of your life, you will groan, when your flesh and body are spent." - Proverbs 5:11
One of the most heartbreaking lines in Proverbs 5 is the voice of someone who didn't listen. But
here's the good news: You don't have to end up there.
 Try This:
Write down one past mistake or regret. Now ask: What wisdom do I need today to never repeat
 that?

 Celebrate Faithfulness

Guard Your Path: The Power of Wisdom Over Temptation
"Rejoice in the wife of your youth... may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be intoxicated
with her love." - Proverbs 5:18-19
God created intimacy and desire, but within covenant. Faithfulness isn't just a command-it's a
 blessing.
Action Steps:- If married: Take time to affirm and appreciate your spouse.- If single: Pray for wisdom to pursue purity and patience.

God Sees - and He Cares

"For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths." - Proverbs 5:21
God watches because He cares where you're going. He's guiding, not spying.
Ask Yourself:- What area of your life needs a course correction?- What would change if you lived today aware of His loving eyes?

 Your Challenge This Week

Choose one area-relationships, media, or finances-and ask:
"What does this look like 10 years from now?"
 Then pray:
Guard Your Path: The Power of Wisdom Over Temptation
"God, help me walk in wisdom, not just what feels good right now."

 Final Thought

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." - Proverbs 4:23
When you guard your path, you preserve the good: peace, joy, and purpose. Start your day with:
"Lord, show me where I'm vulnerable and guide me back to Your wisdom."
Guard your path. Walk in truth. And know God is walking with you
